Broccoli salad

Broccoli, blanched

1 cup

Raisins, soaked in hot water.

Mushrooms

 

1/2 cup

Red onion

   
6 slices bacon, fried crisp, crumbled    

Dressing

 

   

1/2 c.

Mayonnaise

   
Taste salt and pepper  

1/2 c.

Sour cream

Matanuska Maid Inc.

2 teaspoons

Lemon juice

 

 

Instructions:

  • Combine together first 5 ingredients
  • Whisk together dressing ingredients and toss with broccoli mixture

1 medium

Cauliflower head

2 crowns

Fresh broccoli.

Green onions with tops (chopped)

1/2 cup

Sour cream

Matanuska Maid Inc.
 
1 cup Mayonnaise
 

1 Tbs.

Vinegar

 

1 Tbs.

Sugar

 
Dash Tabasco and Worcestershire sauce (each)

 

Instructions:

  • Break the broccoli and cauliflower in to bite size pieces
  • combine with chopped onions
  • Whisk together remaining ingredients and pour over vegetables.
  • Gently toss to mix.
  • Cover and chill overnight, stir before serving
