- From the Corn Husker state of Nebraska, Eric and was raised on an acreage farm where he raised cattle & swine for shows and market. In addition to his passion for FFA and 4-H, he loves to watch movies and play sports.
|
|
|
- As a member of the 4-H club from when he was 8 years old until he was 20, he participated in such projects as swine, beef, photography, baking, and sheep. He was a Jr. Leader in his county and a member of the National 4-H Congress Leadership Team in 1997. Currently his mother is an extension agent in his hometown and his father is a long time 4-H leader.

|
- As part of his highschool agriculture program Eric was active serving in many offices as the chapter level and as a State Officer in 1997. With a desire to teach and to use his talents, Eric has served the National FFA Orgainzation as a Washington Leadership Conference Team Leader for two years, an Advanced Leadership Development Team Leader for two years, a Blast Off Trainer for two years, and the 2000 Global Agriculture Ambassador.

- Currently, living in Indianapolis, Indiana following graduation from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a Bachelors Degree in Agricultural Education, he is the Assistant Regional Director of the Eastern US for the National FFA Foundation.
Eric is looking forward to his trip to Alaska and bringing his dynamic message of opportunity and self esteem to Alaska’s Agricultural Youth.
